Balderton leads Crowdcube fund
VENTURE capital firm Balderton Capital yesterday announced it would invest £3.8m in UK crowdfunding firm Crowdcube as part of its £5m Series B round of funding.
Equity-based crowdfunding platform Crowdcube is expected to double its workforce and seek to expand operations in the UK following the investment.
The round is due to be completed through raising the remaining £1.2m via Crowdcube’s own crowdfunding platform.
