Canary Wharf gets mo-ed in time for Movember challenge

It’s that time of year again. Polish off those razors and get ready to start afresh on Movember first – that most hirsute of months is nearly upon us.

But don’t worry if you forget, the shaving force behind the charity month has mo-ed a reminder into the grass in Canary Wharf.

Want to get involved? Well CityAM has teamed up with Movember, which supports men’s health issues such as testicular cancer and mental health, to run the CityAM Financial Challenge.

Visit the Movember website to register your team of Mo Bros.

Mo Sistas can get involved too (not with upper lip fuzz, don’t worry) by supporting a team and raising awareness of the issues. It’s all about which team will raise the most. Last year Jupiter Asset Management’s team, Interplanetary Facial Hair, came out on top with a whopping £93,796.

Bloomberg wasn’t far behind with £80,000, with BAML and Investec in third and fourth place. You don’t get extra points for a great team name but you sure get extra kudos. Grow strong folks – we look forward to seeing your best efforts.
