The London Hilton played host to the toast of Irish business and entertainment last night at the Irish Post awards.

Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, football legend Liam Brady, Renishaw founder Sir David McMurtry and billionaire property developer Sean Mulryan of Ballymore Group all received awards – with CityAM managing director Lawson Muncaster making an impassioned speech about his connection with Ireland. “I have an emotive relationship with Ireland,” he told the crowd.

Naturally, the fastest feet in the west, Michael Flatley, was there, handing Rhys Meyers his gong. Also enjoying the evening were Eamonn Holmes, Paul Costelloe and last year’s The Apprentice Winner Dr Leah Totton.
