Lowendalmasaï
Francis Mainoo has been appointed UK head of corporate development at the enterprise cost consultancy. He was previously head of London business development at Grant Thornton, and Mainoo has also held positions at Merrill Lynch and EY.

Results International
The M&A adviser to the marketing services, technology, and healthcare sectors has announced the promotion of Julie Langley to partner and the appointment of Chris Lewis as managing director. Langley has previously held roles at Broadview and Jefferies. Lewis has worked at KPMG, Arma Partners, and JP Morgan.

ifs ProShare
Alan Scott has been appointed head of employee share ownership at the industry organisation. He has over 40 years’ experience in the industry, and was most recently company secretary for Millenium & Copthorne Hotels. Scott has also held senior roles at BT.

Grant Thornton
The audit, tax and advisory firm has announced the appointment of Amaechi Nsofor as a director in its London-based restructuring and debt advisory team. He is responsible for Grant Thornton’s Africa desk, advising on deals involving African corporates, investors and lenders.

Capco
The business and technology consultancy has announced the promotions of Paul Trotter and James Arnett to partner. They were both previously managing principals at Capco. Trotter has particular experience delivering sourcing projects to insurance and banking operations. Arnett has expertise in business and technology transformation across capital markets and banking.

Moelis & Company
The independent investment bank has appointed Philip Smith as managing director, with a focus on providing financial and strategic advice to EMEA capital goods and automotive clients. He was previously managing director at Citigroup, where he covered diversfied industrial clients. Smith qualified as an accountant at Deloitte.

RateSetter
Alan Hughes has been appointed the UK peer to peer lending platform’s first chairman. He is a former chief executive of First Direct, and has also held senior positions at HSBC.
