THE BRITISH Olympic Association is in no hurry to appoint a new chief executive, after Andy Hunt announced his resignation yesterday.

Hunt, who led Team GB at the London 2012 Games, their most successful for more than a century, is set to leave his post at the end of February.

But the BOA, which is implementing a restructure under new chairman Lord Coe, is not seeking an immediate replacement and may not hire one at all.

Hunt follows former director of sport Sir Clive Woodward in departing post-London 2012.
