SMIRNOFF BLACK SCREENINGS
Anyone who fancies a cocktail with their classic film should head along to the Smirnoff Black Screenings at Chelsea’s Bluebird, which returns after a sell-out 1950s Hollywood series last year. The series offers 9pm big-screen showings of classic films – including Alfie and Casino Royale – in celebration of the silver screen’s most debonair modern stars. Meanwhile, guests sip smooth Smirnoff cocktails and relax on sun loungers amid black and white furnishings. Tickets £25, 350 Kings Road, SW3 5UU. To book call Bluebird on 020 7559 1000.

CIDER FESTIVAL AT THE BETJEMAN ARMS
Cider often seems rather unloved next to beer, despite having a large and devoted fan base. So cider-drinkers will be pleased to know about the Betjeman Arms Summer Ciderfest, which features 20 ciders with 10 on tap, mostly from around England, as well as a selection from Spain, Sweden, France, Ireland and South Africa. Food is also cider-inspired – the bream poached in cider with roasted apples and goat’s cheese appeals especially. Until 15 Jul, The Betjeman Arms, 53 St. Pancras Station, NW1 2QP, tel: 020 7923 5440.

POP UP SPA FOR MEN ON PARK LANE
New men’s all-natural grooming range Osmium has responded to stats saying that 56 per cent of City workers say this has been the most stressful year in recent times, by opening up a pop-up spa on Park Lane today.

It will offer a free, 45-minute deep facial treatment or neck, shoulder and head massage to the first 10 appointments booked. Otherwise it’s £45 (a £22 discount). Those in the second batch of 10 will leave with a juicy goodie bag.

6 July-22 Aug, to book and for location, call 020 7318 8691 and quote “osmium”.
