Small group of protesters gather outside London law firm over plan to push Article 50 through parliament
A small group of protesters gathered outside the headquarters of Mishcon de Reya on Thursday, in response to the firm's plans to oppose the government if it triggers Article 50 without securing an act of parliament.
The law firm, based on Kingsway near Holborn station, revealed at the end of last week that it was prepared to take legal action if the government does not "follow the correct process".
The protesters, organised by political publication Spiked, told CityAM that they are planning "counter-demonstrations" in response to protests by Remain voters who have called for a second referendum or for MPs to block the decision. The rival sides are set to clash this Saturday in Green Park, where a "Picnic Against Brexit" is planned.

Spiked said that 25 people attended the protest at Mishcon's HQ today. Photographs showed 13 protesters in front of the building.
“We are a very young campaign, we were only born this week – we expect more [people to join] and if anyone wants to get involved, they should,” a spokesperson said.
Mishcon de Reya has also come under fire from Conservative MPs who backed the Leave campaign, but is believed to have received over 1,500 emails this week supporting its position.
A spokesperson for Mishcon de Reya declined to comment.
