Victoria tube station has been evacuated due to an "emergency" amid unconfirmed reports of fire on a train.

Transport for London says a person is reported to be on the track, while witnesses report fire on a train, but this is unconfirmed.

The latest from Transport for London says the Victoria Line is suffering severe delays.

"Victoria Line: No service between Brixton and Warren Street due to a person on the track. SEVERE DELAYS on the rest of the line."

"Tickets will be accepted on buses, Southern, Southeastern, London Overground and Great Northern."

Passengers have been urged out of the tube, while there are reports that the police have arrived.
