CityAM Budget Breakdown: How Rachel Reeves’ decisions will impact business

Rachel Reeves’ first budget on the 30th of October marked a watershed moment for the country.

After months of rumour and dire warnings over the state of the public finances, the government laid out a roadmap for the economy and revealed its fiscal plans for the year ahead.

In partnership with Camarco, CityAM unpicked the key policies of Rachel Reeves’ first budget and how they will impact business.

CityAM editor-in-chief Christian May was joined on the panel by former City minister and Shadow Secretary of State for Science and Technology, Andrew Griffith MP; Labour MP Callum Anderson, who previously held roles at the London Stock Exchange Group and Canada Corporation; Tim Cockroft, chair and founder of Singer Capital markets; and Danni Hewson, head of financial analysis at AJ Bell.
