Queen’s Wharf, Hammersmith
Four penthouses are on sale atop a riverside scheme in Hammersmith. Named Clark, Dixon, Appleby and Thorne after four key figures in the construction of Hammersmith Bridge, the penthouses have three bedrooms and a private roof terrace each. Prices start at £4.2m and they’re due to be finished in 2017. The scheme by Mount Anvil and Fabrica also includes the refurbished Riverside Studios complex – where episodes of Dr Who, TFI Friday and Top of the Pops have been filmed – which is now three new film studios, a cinema, cafe and restaurant.

The Village Green, Mill Hill
A new village green has been created in NW7 by London-based developer Vision Residences, featuring a collection of eight new and converted houses. Ranging from three to five bedrooms, they’re situated on The Ridgeway as part of a private gated development on the grounds of a former convent and school against the backdrop of a historic Victorian chapel. The homes come with underground parking and a four per cent rental guarantee for Buy-to-Let investors. Prices start from £1.795m for a three/four bedroom house.

15 Grove End Road, St John’s Wood
Cricket fans might be interested in four new apartments on sale overlooking Lord’s Cricket Ground. Developer Harrods Estates put the two and three bedroom homes on sale last week, including a two bedroom duplex penthouse with private roof terrace. The properties cover an entire floor each and have access to parking via a car lift that “recognises” the resident’s car and uses a turntable to direct it to the right space. The developer says the scheme can be bought as a single Buy-to-Let. Prices start from £2.95m and the penthouse is priced at £4.45m.

Temple House, The Strand
The final 22 homes at the biggest residential scheme on the Strand in a century are now on sale. One, two and three bedroom red-brick apartments with riverside views are on sale at Temple House, part of the 190 Strand development on Arundel Street. Developer St Edward invested £500m to turn the former ‘60s office block into 206 homes in total. Prices at Temple House start at £1.595m and are set to be completed in 2017. And you get to live in the former heartland of journalism, a historic area filled with restaurants and theatres.

Aldwych Chambers, Temple
Twenty homes have just been completed on Essex Street opposite the Royal Courts of Justice on Essex Street. With 999-year leaseholds and a prime spot in the Strand Conservation Area, there are two and three bedroom duplex apartments and one to three bedroom lateral apartments on sale from £895,000. A stand alone, red-brick building, Temple House has been designed to complement the surrounding Gothic architecture of the Royal Courts of Justice and Arundel House next door, and takes its name from nearby Temple Gardens.
