GALLIFORD Try said yesterday it has sealed a £100m contract with Kent County Council that will see it deliver seven housing schemes across the county.

The FTSE 250 housebuilding and construction group will build around 240 homes across Kent providing supported living for vulnerable adults, as well as communal facilities.

It will also invest in the funding for the project, called Excellent Homes for All, and provide facilities maintenance.

It is the third contract won by Galliford this month after being picked as the preferred bidder with Carillion and Balfour Beatty for a £745m road contract near Aberdeen and signing a deal with the Midlands Highways Alliance.
