Capturing the world with 16 GoPro cameras in a 360-degree view? If you’ve been looking for that one-of-a-kind volunteering opportunity to impress your friends with, this might just be it.

Google has developed a 16-camera virtual reality video capture platform called Jump – and now the tech giant is looking for volunteers to try it out:

“Capture the world in VR video–video that you can step inside of–and make it available to everyone.”

The company write that it's looking for a handful of “select creators” who will get a chance to take a Jump camera out for a spin this summer.

Although filmmakers, journalists and artists are particularly sought after, the ad makes it clear that Google is more interested in what you would do with the VR rig, given the chance.
