Invest in property with your IFISA

Throughout history, wealth has always been accumulated and preserved by investing in the property sector. Over the years we have seen property prices reach all-time highs and even outperformed the stock market. The super-rich however don’t really “do” buy-to-let investments. They have always had access to other sectors and type of investment products that were unattainable to the average man on the street.

In April 2016, the UK Government introduced the Innovative Finance ISA which sits alongside traditional Cash and Stocks & Shares ISAs. It is a new ISA category that enables UK residents the ability to invest in certain IFISA eligible property investment opportunities and take advantage of tax-free returns. Anyone over the age of 18 years old can open an IFISA account. It is simple, easy and a great way to diversity your portfolio.

Cash ISAs vs IFISAs

We are all familiar with Cash ISAs, but do they offer you the returns that you need to live the life you deserve after retirement. If you are looking to diversify your portfolio then an IFISA might be an option. IFISAs have a little more risk but offer potentially higher return. Imagine how 8% to 12% per year over 20 years could affect your pension.

Safe as houses

Everyone knows that property is a good investment. However, we don’t necessarily have the time, expertise or the money to invest in property, especially property outside of the standard residential sector through buy to let. This has prevented the ‘average person’ from taking advantage of this lucrative market. In recent years this has all changed and property investment is more accessible than ever before.

What is property investment crowdfunding?

In the past the biggest barriers to entry were the large amount of capital required to invest in property as well as specialist knowledge required to invest outside of the BTL sector. In recent years there has been the introduction of crowdfunding platforms that enable you to invest relatively small amounts of money into such investments. For the first time in history, lucrative investments across the entire property sector are now accessible, not only to the wealthy and well connected. Property Crowdfunding gives you the opportunity to invest hands-off in student accommodation, nursing homes, warehouses, residential and commercial property.

Who is Shojin property partners?

We are an FCA regulated property investment crowdfunding company helping people invest across the entire property sector with relatively small amounts of money. We offer investors a wide range of opportunities, of which some are IFISA eligible and include secured lending to property developers and bond products that let you spread your investment across the property sector.

How can Shojin help you?

Take advantage of your £20,000 Tax Free allowance and invest in property through your IFISA. We can help you transfer in any non performing ISAs or open a new IFISA account to make your money work harder for you. Visit www.shojin.co.uk for more information.
