Join CityAM Wine Club and build your dream cellar

CityAM has launched a readers’ Wine Club aimed at both investors and those who simply enjoy the finer things in life. We will be working with some of the world’s leading wine estates to provide exclusive offers on some of the most exciting bottles on the market; you can either pick out your favourites or receive guidance on the best ones to buy. We’ll also host regular tastings and events, as well as arrange trips to the chateaux themselves.

Members will have access to our intuitive online management tools, which allow you to log any wines you already have at home – or in bond – and monitor future purchases. The service provides real-time pricing and a total breakdown of your cellar, including critic scores and drinking windows. Other benefits will include reduced or free corkage at some of London’s top restaurants.

If you are purchasing for investment, the wine club will identify trends, keeps you abreast of market information and create models based on price movement and critics’ scores of the top investable wines.

As a taste of things to come, we are offering the difficult to source – not to mention incredible to drink – “super Tuscan” Sassicaia 2012, produced by Tenuta San Guido, for £545 for a case of six. This excellent wine –  85 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon and 15 per cent Cabernet Franc – is one of the finest vintages of the last five years, at least on par with the 2009, although embodying more freshness, pedigree and balance (characteristics that can be attributed to the cool nights experienced in the growing season). Over last five years the price of Sassicaia – taken from the last 10 released vintages – has risen over 90 per cent and the market expects this trend to continue. The cases will be available for delivery in July.

BUY NOW: Add Sassicaia 2012 to your cellar

We are also offering Tenuta San Guido’s second wine, Guidalberto, which is one of the best red wines in the world for under £25.

The Sassicaia Estate, situated near the Tuscan coast in Bolgheri, says it is the Cabernet Franc that provides its unique finesse and famous longevity. In their youth the wines are ripe, rich, opulent and layered with black fruits, cherries, spices, minerals, herbs, new leather, caramel, smoke and toast. With age; sweet fruit, tobacco, cedar, porcini mushrooms, liquorice, flowers, maintaining a rich body with delicate tannin and a wonderful balance of masculinity and femininity.

Sign up to the City A.M Wine Club to benefit from:
  • Exclusive offers on the world’s leading wines at superb prices
  • Access to exclusive tastings and wine events with the world’s leading wine producers
  • Access to the world’s leading chateaux for tastings and tailored wine travel
  • Reduced or free corkage at some of London’s leading restaurants
  • Market reports, vintage reports and in-depth market analytics
Wine bought through the CityAM Wine Club can be held by the Wine Club, transferred in bond, or delivered to your home or office. For more information email [email protected] or call 020 3195 8091.
