Kell now keen on Khan bout
BRITAIN’S Kell Brook is eyeing a showdown with Amir Khan after beating Shawn Porter to become IBF welterweight champion in their title fight in California on Saturday.
The 28-year-old claimed a majority decision over the American to maintain his perfect record with 33 victories from as many bouts and now has Bolton boxer Khan, who has not ruled out the clash, in his sights.
“I know Khan doesn’t like me.” said Brook. “The fact is he’s getting it. I’m the champ of the world and the British public want it.”
