Mr Goucho steaks his claim to city eating with bull run round Bank
Avid readers of The Capitalist might remember the news of former Goucho MD Martin Williams’ plans to open a new steak venture, called M. Well, to announce its opening in the City in November, Williams sent his bovine legions for a walk around Bank yesterday.
Will he send Mark Carney some steaks at the Bank, as he did Mervyn King years ago? “He’ll have to do something to warrent free steaks first,” laughed Williams. “But he’ll be invited to the opening.”
