Things you can buy to support the Royal British Legion

The Poppy Appeal launches in ten days, and to help you join in and support a good cause, we’ve put together a list of things you can buy in aid of the Royal British Legion. From Christmas cards to pieces for the pets, as well as a special edition of the poppy brooch, you’re bound to find something that suits you.

GBBO’s new presenter

The BBC mourned the loss of one of its most loved shows when it was announced that the Great British Bake Off would be moving to Channel 4 after the current series. Judge Mary Berry and presenters Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc decided they would also leave the show – but today it was announced that Channel 4 might be lining up a comedian and writer to present the show.

Is supporting EU membership such a crime?

A Tory Councillor created a petition to make supporting EU membership a crime after Brexit. The petition currently has 97 signatures, but needs 100,000 before it will be considered for a debate in parliament.
