Second Twitter exec resigns with goodbye tweets after Ali Rowghani’s exit

Twitter's head of media in North America is leaving the social network – just a day after COO Ali Rowghani stepped down.

 

Chloe Sladden, a senior executive reporting directly to Rowghani, was instrumental in forging relationships between Twitter and its media partners including broadcasters and publishers.

 

She also worked closely with Twitter's high profile personalities including politicians, athletes and musicians to build audience engagement on the platform.

 

Her exit is another blow to Twitter as it faces a slowdown in user growth and a fall in share price from a high of $69 in January.

 

Twitter’s shares rose 3.5 per cent yesterday and closed at $36.79 per share.
