Sticky situation: Protesters glue themselves to Jeremy Corbyn’s fence

Four particularly plucky protesters have glued themselves to a fence outside the house of Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn this afternoon.

Images of activists attached to the leader of the opposition’s front fence surfaced on social media this afternoon, in the latest move by protesters at the Extinction Rebellion demonstrations in London.

Earlier today climate change protesters glued themselves to a DLR train at Canary Wharf as police reportedly closed access to parts of the station in response to the disruption.

Extinction Rebellion activists today stepped up their London protests by targeting the capital’s transport network, clambering on top of the carriage of a Docklands Light Railway train to unfurl a banner reading "Climate Emergency".

Protesters glued themselves to the sides and roof of the carriage, preventing it from leaving.

More than 300 protesters have already been arrested in the demonstrations so far.

Trafalgar Square, Marble Arch and Waterloo Bridge are a few of the major London landmarks that have been grounded to a halt amid the protests.
